Hi everyone, I’m Nat and this cutie pie is Morgan.

I’ve been involved in some capacity with animals my entire life. Whether it be volunteering at shelters, wildlife rescue and being part of the committee or qualifying as a veterinary nurse, my passion for understanding canine behaviour / communication has seen me continue to up-skill my education.

My nursing experience spans a total of 15+ years and has given me a unique perspective on the intricate relationship dogs have in our lives.

 

I’ve worked across Australia – Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne, Western Australia, Adelaide and regional Victoria, in multiple vet nursing capacities honing my knowledge on canine behaviour and communication, along with a better understanding of dog body language and the benefits of mental enrichment. This lead me to start up many puppy kinder classes and the development of puppy primary (post Covid-19 program) to enhance the lives of dogs and owners, resulting in greatly enriched relationships.

Pawsative K9 Obedience & Pet Taxi currently sees clients across the Wimmera and Adelaide regions.

Morgan my 4 year old Border Collie and inspiration for Pawsative K9 Obedience & Pet Taxi, was a rambunctious 9 week old whirl wind in desperate need of guidance. I truly understand how overwhelming it can feel to ride the wave of emotional highs and lows that comes with having a puppy through to teenage hood and beyond to a well mannered, confident, independent and happy dog. My own journey with Morgan has its daily challenges due to her extreme fluctuations with noise reactivity, a couple of severe noise phobias and thunderstorms all of these require management to help keep her calm and in control of her emotions ... I really do understand the daily challenges faced with owning an anxious dog.

 

The formation of Pawsative K9 Obedience and Pet Taxi services is to enable owners to learn 'how to speak dog' and to enhance their special bond with their furry companions by creating a greater opportunity to help every dog to fulfill their potential and live their BEST life possible.
